Selected as a Sundance Collab Community Leader: August 2025 to August 2026
I’m honoured to share that I have been selected to serve as a Community Leader for Sundance Collab, the global digital learning and networking platform of the world-renowned Sundance Institute.
About Sundance Collab
Sundance Collab is a vibrant creative hub where filmmakers, screenwriters, producers, and storytellers come together to learn, connect, and collaborate. Developed by the Sundance Institute, the platform offers:
Live masterclasses with industry leaders
On-demand and self-paced courses
Writers’ Cafés and community events
Forums for peer feedback and networking
A vast video library of craft-focused resources
It is a space that champions new voices, nurtures diverse perspectives, and supports creators at every stage of their journey.
My Role as a Community Leader
From August 2025 to August 2026, I will be working with Sundance Collab to:
Moderate community forums and foster engagement
Provide constructive feedback on creative work
Support and help grow the Writers’ Café
Curate relevant content for members
Host and participate in online meet-ups, focus groups, and community challenges
Promote Sundance Collab courses and events within the community and my networks
This voluntary role is about building connections, encouraging creativity, and helping independent artists grow in confidence and craft.
Why This Matters
For creators: Access to a supportive, global network of peers and mentors can be transformative—helping emerging artists develop their voice and find opportunities to share their work.
For me: It’s a chance to bring my experience in community engagement, creative facilitation, and cultural leadership to an international platform—while learning from incredible artists worldwide.
For Cottage Factory: This role strengthens our mission to empower creative entrepreneurs and storytellers, connecting our network with world-class learning and collaboration opportunities.
